The Learning Resource Center exists for one reason: to help students achieve their educational goals.
We are committed to the success of the students here at Austin Peay State University. From Structured Learning Assistance to the Veterans Upward Bound tutoring program for Veterans, no matter who or where you are, we have programs to help you succeed at Austin Peay.
The following services are available to APSU students.
Peer tutoring can be an essential factor in student success. As part of APSU's efforts
to help students succeed, we provide FREE group support for undergraduate courses for APSU students. To schedule sessions with
a peer tutor, please email learningctr@apsu.edu or log into Accudemia using your OneStop username and password.
SLA is now available for additional college courses to help students excel. The SLA
program offers workshops that emphasize lecture materials, learning styles, and general
knowledge that help students succeed in both their courses and college as a whole.
The Learning Resource Center has partnered with Distance Education to provide FREE
online tutoring through Tutor.com. This service provides 24/7 support for many undergraduate
courses and can be accessed through D2L. Select any course, then Resource: Subject-Specific
Tutoring.
Clarksville Community
The following services are available to APSU Students and the Clarksville Community for a minimal fee.
We provide tutoring to the community for a reasonable fee and have tutors available
to meet your needs.
The Learning Resource Center is proud to work with the Veterans Upward Bound program
to provide Veterans with tutoring to help them prepare for college admissions testing
and provide skill enhancement opportunities in Reading, Writing, and Math.
*For other Learning Centers, we encourage sharing of resources. Please see our policy on the use of our materials.
Feedback
We are always interested in hearing about the experience you had during tutoring in
the Learning Resource Center or in your SLA section. Your feedback helps us improve
our tutoring program and the SLA classroom experience.
Please take the time to submit the feedback forms for Peer Tutoring or SLA so we can provide the best possible services for students. If we would like to leave
a positive message or point out an area where one of tutors can improve, you may do
that here.
