Pre-Licensure BSN Program
The pre-licensure baccalaureate nursing program at APSU is a four academic year program, with 1.5 years of general education nursing prerequisites courses, and five semesters of nursing courses. Students completing the program will earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Pre-Licensure) degree, and will be eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) for registered nurse (RN) licensure.
APSU nursing students enjoy a reputation of excellence through employment with agencies nationwide. The diverse student body includes traditional and non-traditional students, second degree students, in addition to current and former military personnel.
*UNIV 1000 is mandatory for all students with 12 or less credit hours.
