Austin Peay's Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Program helps open the door to the professional and graduate worlds.
Whether you plan to seek employment post-graduation or head to graduate school, our doctoral-educated faculty in the School of Nursing will prepare you to be a leader in the healthcare industry. The baccalaureate program offers two options, the BSN Nursing Major (Pre-Licensure concentration) and the RN to BSN concentration.
The baccalaureate (BSN) program is guided by the following professional nursing standards and guidelines:
- American Association of College of Nurses (AACN), The Essentials of Baccalaureate Education for Professional Nursing Practice
- Quality & Safety Education for Nurses (QSEN) Competencies
- American Nurses' Association (ANA) Code of Ethics.
The BSN Nursing Major (Pre-Licensure) and RN to BSN concentration also operate under the laws, rules, and regulations of the Tennessee Board of Nursing.
