TEAS Testing
Applicants are required to take the TEAS exam. Applicants must have a 68 or higher TEAS composite score. TEAS results are valid for one year.
The TEAS exam is an ATI exam. Please contact ATI testing, if you have questions regarding the test, fees, prep, etc.
You do not need to purchase additional transcripts from ATI. After testing, log in to ATI and download your individual TEAS Performance page. Upload this page with your nursing application. Sending the TEAS transcript to APSU will not exclude you from having to upload a copy when you apply.
The APSU Testing Center offers the exam year round. Select the link in the red bar to register for a date and time to test.
Arrival: Please comply with the instructions provided by the testing center. Parking and testing information are provided on their website.
Testing facility: APSU, Testing Center, 18 Henry Street, Marks Building, Room 120
Fees: Please contact ATI testing for fee costs. Fees must be paid the day you take the exam. Please bring with you a credit card or debit card. Cash payments will NOT be accepted.
ID: Please bring a photo ID. Refer to the testing center page for acceptable photo IDs.
Additional Items: Please bring sharpened pencils or writing utensils.
Prior to arrival on campus to take your TEAS test, you must create your ATI account.
ATI account: Create an ATI account if you don't already have one.
- Go to ATI's website.
- Click 'Create Account' and follow the ATI instructions to create your ATI account
- When you reach the choice to select your institution, select Austin Peay State University (do not select RN2BSN)
- When asked if you are degree-seeking, please select "non-degree seeking."
- Make note of the user name and password you create and bring them with you to the testing center. They are needed to log into the test.
ATI Testing offers remote and in-person testing options, other than testing at the APSU Testing Center. Please refer to the ATI website for information on testing sites and remote options.
Please register now for the TEAS. After selecting to register for the TEAS, select in-person or remote. Follow the prompts.
