Tennessee's top choice for military-connected students
Austin Peay State University is proud to serve more active duty military, family members, veterans and affiliated civilians than all other state universities and colleges combined. Our flexibility, affordability, and supportive staff are here to help you achieve your education and career goals.
The APSU Military Student Center and VetSuccess are designed with military families in mind. We also offer affordable childcare and family/non-traditional housing options at our main campus location. Military spouses are also given an out-of-state fee waiver with proof of orders to Fort Campbell.
Austin Peay accepts the Military Spouse Career Advancement Accounts (MyCAA) program. This spouse scholarship program offers up to $6,000 to certain military spouses who are pursuing degrees, certificates, training, licenses or credentials leading to employment in portable career fields. MyCAA scholarships are available for use at any APSU campus.
With a satellite campus on post at Fort Campbell and a 160-acre main campus located just 10 miles away, we understand the needs of active duty military personnel, veterans and family members.
We offer numerous online programs and courses. Whether you’re reassigned to a post across the country or deployed to serve across the globe, you can continue pursuing your APSU degree.
We offer out-of-state fee waivers for active duty soldiers. That means no matter where you live, you will receive low, in-state tuition rates.
If you live in or near Clarksville, you can take advantage of our Child Learning Center and nontraditional student housing options on the main campus.
