Sending Mail to Your Student

Whether your student lives on campus or in an off-campus apartment, we promise he or she will be thrilled to get a care package from home! The start of the semester, midterms and finals week are ideal times to send them.

What goes into a care package? Here are a few ideas:

• Study supplies like pens, pencils and highlighters
• Nonperishable snacks
• Family photos
• Drink mixes (lemonade, hot cocoa, etc.)
• Microwave popcorn
• Games
• DVDs
• Gift cards for local restaurants

If your student lives on campus, let him or her know to expect a package at the post office. Address the package in the following manner:
