Assist Students in Navigating Honorlock For A Smoother Testing Experience

To help your students succeed, provide them with an opportunity to experience the Honorlock proctoring process before any graded exams. Here are three effective methods to achieve this:

1. Create a Practice Exam (opens new window): By offering practice exams, students can familiarize themselves with the Honorlock platform and its requirements. This boosts their confidence and comfort during the online proctoring experience.

2. Implement a Simulated, Non-Proctored Exam (opens new window): You can design these exams in D2L or use third-party tools like McGraw Hill to simulate the proctoring environment at every step.

3. HonorPrep Guided Tour (opens new window): Utilize this quick guided tour, which lasts under 7 minutes. It provides a comprehensive overview of the Honorlock system and its features.

These strategies will help prepare your students for a successful testing experience.

To learn more, visit our Honorlock webpage or contact our support desk with any questions.

Image of a man with the text "We are thrilled to announce that at the start of December Mike joined our team as Instructional Designer. When asked about joining DE, Mike said, “I'm so excited to join the Distance Education team at Austin Peay! I'm a veteran, and, long story short, returning to college was one of the most decisive factors that contributed to my healthy transition back to civilian life. That return was made possible by the accessibility of distance/online education. I'm deeply honored to support the same transformative power for other learners at such a community-oriented, military-friendly school. Please let me know how I can serve you and your students!”
