1. RE-ENABLE HONORLOCK AFTER A COURSE COPY
After a course copy, please re-enable your Honorlock exams. In your D2L Course, go to Tools > Honorlock and click 'Enable'. Review settings for each Honorlock exam that was copied then save your settings.

2. HONORLOCK EXAM REMINDERS

  • Password: Honorlock generates a password in D2L Quizzes. Do not edit, remove, or share this password. If students are prompted for a password, ensure Honorlock is enabled for the quiz and direct them to these troubleshooting tips if issues persist.
  • Browser Compatibility: Students must use Google Chrome and the Honorlock Chrome extension. The system will prompt for installation of the extension and verify setup requirements.
  • Student Preparation: Encourage students to review this checklist and complete HonorPrep (opens new window) (5-7 minutes) to familiarize themselves with the platform.
  • Third-party Exams: Students can only access third-party exams via Tools > Honorlock in D2L. Refer students to the third-party exams page.
  • Support: Students should use the live chat feature in the Honorlock for 24/7 support during exams or visit the Honorlock support website (opens new window); especially outside of APSU’s business hours.

Please contact our support desk with any questions.

Image of a man with the text "We are thrilled to announce that at the start of December Mike joined our team as Instructional Designer. When asked about joining DE, Mike said, “I'm so excited to join the Distance Education team at Austin Peay! I'm a veteran, and, long story short, returning to college was one of the most decisive factors that contributed to my healthy transition back to civilian life. That return was made possible by the accessibility of distance/online education. I'm deeply honored to support the same transformative power for other learners at such a community-oriented, military-friendly school. Please let me know how I can serve you and your students!”
